Terms of use

Effective: November 8, 2026. Last updated: November 8, 2026.

These terms cover this website and the Apocalypse EWS Discord bot. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using them.

What this is. This is a free, independent bot that shares updates from the Apocalypse Early Warning System, which tracks unusual aircraft activity. It is not an official emergency service and is not run by Discord or the original EWS project.

Do not rely on it for safety. An “emergency level” is the source project’s label, not proof of danger or safety. Alerts can be wrong, late, duplicated, or missing. Follow official emergency guidance, not this bot, when making safety decisions.

Use it responsibly. Follow the law, your server’s rules, and Discord’s terms, including its age requirements. Only install or manage the bot where you have permission. Do not use it to spam, harass people, or disrupt services.

Messages and stopping. Installing the bot in a server may automatically subscribe its welcome channel. Subscribed channels and users receive alerts and occasional service messages or reminders. Use /unsubscribe in each subscribed channel or DM to stop that subscription. You can also DM unsubscribe or remove the app through Discord’s settings.

No guarantees. The website and bot are provided as they are. We do not promise accuracy, availability, or continued service. We may change or stop the service, or restrict access to prevent abuse. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using it or relying on its alerts. Nothing here removes rights or responsibilities that the law does not let us exclude.

Privacy and questions. The privacy policy explains what we keep and how to request deletion. For other questions, open a GitHub issue. Do not post personal information there.

We will post changes here and update the date above. Check this page before continuing to use the service after a change.
